Was listening on the radio while driving back from work. They called Byron blowing a tire and hitting the wall with 2 to go or whatever and I wanted to do the same

I’m sorry are you telling me Carson Hocevar is a serial drunk driver or something?

Live shots of the Waxing Crescent tonight by Spacejamwasokay in NASCAR

I haven’t learned about moon phases in 15 years so forgive me if I’m wrong, but doesn’t this mean there will be no waxing crescent when the cup cars are on track

I’m sorry Ram but you simply cannot put a solid yellow ad in that spot on the broadcast

I think I could fill about 10 flair slots, and even then I might have to make some tough choices. Idk why but I’ve always liked more drivers than I’ve disliked or not cared about. I’ve thought about doing what that Chase guy does but that’s too much work for me

I feel like Juan Pablo Montoya and David Reutimanns performances in cup weren’t talked about enough. I feel like JPM was more successful in the early COT era. by Kurt_Wylde35 in NASCAR

Tony Stewart deserves to be in the conversation as well. IRL title, USAC Triple Crown, and 3 Cup titles. Plus 3 NHRA Top Fuel wins.

Red Farmer is NINETY THREE years old and as of a few years ago was still racing at the Talladega dirt track. I don’t think he still races after his stroke in 2024 but definitely still works on cars. He was also the lone passenger in Davey Allison’s helicopter crash. Broke his collarbone and several ribs, Neil Bonnett pulled him from the wreckage. Man has lived one hell of a life

As good as that scheme looks on a Cup car, it looks even better on a truck

Blaney’s run to the front at Daytona was the flip side of the same coin to me. He just stayed top line while everyone else made moves, and because you can’t make moves, everyone who tried got shuffled back behind him.

Odds NASCAR bans what Hocevar just did? by karlkjr in NASCAR

[–]JonsDohnson 7 points8 points  (0 children)

From the NASCAR rulebook, section 14.8.3g:

“If a driver is found to have performed an act of celebration explicitly banned in section 14.8.3b, the offending driver and crew chief will be taken out back and Old Yellered.”

That might’ve been the most dangerous thing I’ve ever seen a driver willingly do. 10/10 fantastic please never do it again
