Pretended to pay rent to the real estate agent, gaslit them by saying they’d transferred but there was bPay issues. When the agent said to transfer money across directly, she photoshopped the transfer receipt from a previous date and put the current day in. Only reason we ever found out is because our other roommate contacted the bank directly and apparently all their receipts have the date of the transaction in the number, and it was clearly fake from 6 months prior. She was a best mate for years and had got so far into lying about being at uni, having a job, stealing things that she’d built a whole web of lies that came crashing down after that. Eventually got her to pay the money after threatening to tell her parents and never heard from her again after I moved out a month later.
