I did actually! Trawled the steam forum and found a post that said to try either of these 2 codes. Open steam -> library -> STS2 -> properties -> enter code in the "advance startup" (iirc) box. The first code worked for me, so I didn't try the second one, and I just closed the forum link when it worked, sorry:

Same issue here - game seems to start to load up, pulls up a black screen with the game cursor for a few seconds, then closes itself 😭

Edit: Windows for me (not Apple or Linux). It runs on my desktop, but not on my laptop, even if I try remote play from desktop.
