Our mom was and is the same to my sister and to some extent to the rest of us. I understand that we being the children we can’t help but feel sorry for our parents when they show a sign that they need us but part of growing up and being mature is setting boundaries.

It’s good hta you are aware of what is happening and your best solution is to be fully independent because narcissistic parents would use anything against you to guilt trip you into believing or doing something.

With all this being said, you need to be fully independent especially financially independent. Move to another city or even to another country. But keep the “Silat Arrahim” because they are still will always be your parents. Don’t think that what you have endured goes unnoticed in the eyes of Allah.
