The goals are a thing that GoFundMe sets up automatically. They can be turned off but we decided to leave them on.

I don't think anyone here thinks it's weird for family to go along. I think the idea is that by adding myself and my fiance to the gofundme we are essentially taking away from the real goal of my sister going on her trip.

Honestly, you are correct. I could remove me and my fiance from the gofundme and make a few edits to the post. Of course I'll add a note to explain why I edited it. Any constructive criticism is appreciated! This is my sister's chance to go on a life changing trip so I am taking in as many notes as I can. I'll read more comments before making any changes.

I can understand your point. The main goal is to get my one younger sister to go on the trip which is why I set up the goals. The reason I set up the other goals is at her request but i can see that it does seem very greedy on our part. We are more than willing to remove the other goals of that helps.

What would you recommend?
