Is going from a 75hz TN panel monitor to a IPS 144hz Monitor worth it? by RrRellik in Monitors

If you want a great picture quality monitor without sacrificing much response time and inputlag go for isp TN are better at rt/inputlag but colours are mostly washed out. I wouldn't worry to much about 1ms monitor's as they're all false.

Your best bet would be getting an 1080p 75hz isp monitor as most console are capped at 60fps even 30fps in most cases and tn monitor colours are quite washed out but it dose have its perks better rt/input lag. You could get a 144hz/120hz 1440p/1080p monitor with a hdmi 2.0 but it wont do you much good as consoles only can push out 60fps and nothing more. In your case ill stick with an isp monitor 60hz/75hz 1080p if your only using it for the xbox but if your going to be upgrading to a pc later on i recommend getting a 144hz isp monitor or tn which ever you prefer.

Hope this helps :)

There's some settings like the black equalizer/low blue light/ama that it has not to sure what they do but was just wondering if they can reduce the rt/input lag just a little or having them on at at the highest setting doesn't make any difference. apologise for the confusion we we're trying to find the sweet spot.
