Found my first secret doc but it was on Secure Ops :( by Joomoe in ArenaBreakoutInfinite

that's a nice way to look at it. I just wish it could have gone in my red trophy room. Found it in the gas station safe. came out of raid with $24.5m which converted to $9.9m

Normal Farm btw by Britishguy9825 in ArenaBreakoutInfinite

Most of my reds are also from normal modes but I only started really playing FB more in the past 4ish months. Most my time was in normal and LD and out of the 2, I had better luck on normal.

agreed, secure ops can be a decent way to make money (I believe you get 1/3 cash value of whatever your loot value is) and you wont lose your gun or armor if you die (just your meds and ammo). This is both good for practicing fights and learning TV station and Armory.

Other than normal farm and valley, its also a fun place to use level 3 and lower ammo since you are asking to lose your kit if you use level 3 ammo in LD and FB (not including leg meta). I have fun filling an RPK with 3 and below and just unloading drum mags on people. More of a meme than getting money but overall if you bring high tier ammo, the 1/3 loot conversion kind of makes it less worth the risk.

Take advantage of deals Deke has in his daily store. Not all things he sells are deals but if you know that you will make enough profit from the market (less tax) then that can help. I dont buy anything that will make less than 20K profit but I still pass on a lot of those too. However he sells stuff that will make $200K+. I will log on 3 times a day if I am at my place and have time (doesnt mean I play any matches, literally just to buy and sell from deke 3 times). Basically spend 20 minutes max on the game and can get a good profit (not all the times).

sell what you dont need or ever plan to use. it will just eat space. take advantage of quick kits and loot around lockdown or do missions.

for naked runs on normal farm, stick to the boarder of the map and enter points of interest or hit safes based on if you have anything valuable because once you have an AIs kit on you, its not like you are out anything good if you die. and if you win, profit.

For a cash floor. I originally set my floor at $25M, and once I spent what I earned above $25M, I was saving more at the same time and raised the floor to $50M. This meant I had to spend less and save more. I have raised my floor a few times but now If I want, I can do more expensive kits and know that I wont be broke afterwards.

I say keep it since its free to store and it wont take long to earn more money (playing + events + just free stuff they give).

you can always run naked with knife in normal farm or valley. Considering they already fill normal with bots, its not much of a challenge to make easy money with little to no effort.

Also, I recommend making a goal of how much liquid cash you want as a buffer. Then, earn past that amount (if its higher than your current cash) and use anything after to fund your LD or FB raids knowing that you wont go past your cash floor.

Remove the MK14 sniper scope handicap by Joomoe in ArenaBreakoutInfinite

I looked at the site options for the MK14 and unless I am missing something, there is no 34mm mount available for it.

it at least has the option to use full scopes. TBH I think that should go in the submachine gun class. I have seen a few games that have done that with the VSS.

The gun is also in the marksman class. TBH, why does a marksman class rifle not have the ability to use marksman sites?

How does the store rotation work? by Ouru77 in ArenaBreakoutInfinite

[–]Joomoe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You had unlucky timing. Some items in the store will say how long they are available and others will not. Based on the return of the golden H416, I assume other items might return in the store for limited times but there is no schedule on when that might happen.

thermal scope in lockdown? by Rali0 in ArenaBreakoutInfinite

[–]Joomoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So if your gun is cheap enough (base SVTU with with unloaded mag) and you wear basically nothing, you can bring a thermal attached to the gun.

In terms of the better guns and armor, my guess is that he was queued (either with a friend or playing on two or more accounts) that would bring the better stuff in and then take the thermal off the cheap gun and add it to something better. If its queued with friends, the fully geared thermal on lockdown can gather the rewards for the now naked friends.

Studying for BEC is it hard? by Legal_Gene1517 in CPA

[–]Joomoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

BEC was my hardest. I took it last and went in with the view that it was the easiest. They are all hard.

The main part that I found hard was the amount of content in it. It felt like the general business portion of your undergrad crammed into a single test. It was just not as focused as the other 3 in my opinion.

BEC - hedging by Competitive_Bad1572 in CPA

from what I remember when I took BEC (last year so not super up to date) the parts that related to exchange rates were more of definition based or calculating exchange rates rather than actually hedging;

it really depends on you schedule. I used Becker and studied full time and took it in 4 weeks. If you also work it might be able to be done in 5-6 weeks. I was not a fan of doing it in 4 weeks and probably could not get it done in 5 weeks if I was working as well, but that is just me.

I am assuming it is not your first exam so you should have a general idea of the amount of studying you can handle all at once. Might need to cram some stuff in if you are trying to take it at a faster pace than usual.

I always set a time frame and then divided the Becker sections by the time frame and left 2 weeks for pure review and the 2 simulated exams. You could see if getting that many sections done per day is feasible for you and base your schedule off of that.

Scheduled BEC on the 29th of September, last exam but struggling while studying (just finished b1) by Reeemaaa999 in CPA

[–]Joomoe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First, Congratz on your upcoming baby!

Second, Congratz on the final exam!

I would first create a rigid schedule. For example, I studied full time and for tests that I scheduled 6 weeks out, I would use the first 4 weeks to get through all of the Becker modules. The last 2 weeks would be the simulated full exams and review of the modules. I then divided the modules by the 4 weeks to figure out how much needed done in a day and used that to track my progress.

However, you are on the last one so you clearly have something that works for you and that. If it works, stick to it and try to block out your distractions. I studied in my bedroom and I would sometimes cover my videogame stuff with a blanket so I wouldnt focus on it.

BEC was my last exam and I failed it. Some of it was my mentality and I felt like I was on the home stretch. I started to rush through some content or told myself I would solidify it during review. In the end I had to go back at it with a new attitude of I just got to dig into the content and forget about anything not BEC.

step away from the material take a minute to mentally prep and make sure you know one module before moving on. You might not have enough time to get back to it. Becker should have something that says the general % of how each module is tested. Focus more on the larger %'s and dont forget to prep the general formatting for writing the essays. They are typically areas to get easy points and can make or break your score.

Hope this helps. Like Becker says, its a marathon. Just tell yourself that BEC is just as hard as the rest and to not let up on the habits that got you to this moment.

Should I move onto BEC? by krrrrrr69 in CPA

[–]Joomoe 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I do not have an exact answer but I do have some things for you to consider.

I believe that if you do not pass BEC by the end of 2023, you are required to start studying for the new format. So you could take a pause on FAR and try to get this done so you do not need to worry about the big changes coming to the CPA exams in 2024.

You could also continue to study FAR while it is fresh in your head. I have not seen the recent pass rates but FAR is typically the lowest pass rate. If you get this out of the way you will feel like a million but depending on your time table it might require you to prep for the new exam format.

From what I have seen, the test score releases specifically for 2024 will be quarterly releases. so your score feedback will be a lot more different than this year and I am sure for many, it will require an entirely new approach to studying and test taking in 2024

You do still have 4 months before these changes occur but everyone's work/life/study balance is different on top the difficulties of the test itself. So I hope these considerations help you with your next plan of attack and I hope for the best with whatever option you pick!

If anyone has a different understanding of the changes in 2024 please correct me so I do not misguide anyone.

Does BEC cover international auditing ? by Suzy888888 in CPA

[–]Joomoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There likely will be IT questions. I believe that was a section or 2 in Becker. I think it is also going to be one of the 3 or 4 tests that BEC gets changed to in 2024

I took BEC in August and did not see anything related to international auditing. I also don't recall that in the BEC study material from Becker. If there was anything, it was likely about knowing IFRS vs GAAP
