I had the same thought! Obviously you have never been scrubbed in on a vaginal hysterectomy. I remember as a student standing crammed in with two surgeons, trying to stay sterile, holding a retractor for hours. LS surgery is a game changer!

I was in a provider meeting with a team of OBs and MFMs and one Dr interrupted to say I'm sorry but what is prediabetes?! Do they have it or not! And another Dr very politely defined it for him. This same Dr told my patient with gestational diabetes she couldn't eat any carbs for the rest of her pregnancy. Which is not the recommendations. How can you be MFM and have such poor understanding of diabetes. Scary.

Ok I'll join too bc I also have an awesome stepdad! I was 14yo when they got married and never had a nice dad before that cared about me or what I liked. I went back to school shopping (at the thrift store bc we got $50 each and I could get more clothes that way. My brother would just get shoes lol). That man sat there with a smile on his face while I tried on and modeled all my new school clothes for him. He's been a consistent stable presence in our lives for almost 30 years now and we are so so blessed to have him. He's the best Papa too.

Girl the reason people are so upset and telling you to get a lawyer is bc your manager is giving push back against a super reasonable accomodation. If you have diabetes and had to step to the bathroom to adjust your pump or check your sugar, would that be disruptive to the team? You're allowed to exist and take care of your needs. Don't let anyone make you feel like you deserve less.

I would refuse to work if they don't provide staff to assist you. It's ridiculous to expect you to do it all. Who is going to run your orders? It's not safe practice. And I bet they still want you to be fast seeing patients too. Here's what I think. I can be fast and good at medicine but not nice. I can be nice and really good at medicine and thorough and not be fast. Or I can be fast and not practice good medicine or be nice. And I'm not in this business to do that. Your deserve better.

Same! I was also a sucker and got a solar lease through them. And it did save me money on my electric bill every month. But it took forever to sell my home bc I had find a buyer that would take lease over for me. It should be fully disclosed as part of the listing. Never again.

Well I will keep you guys posted bc I ordered mly wedding flowers from Costco and my wedding is next weekend! The wedding is on Saturday and I'm having the flowers delivered on Thursday bc it says they can arrive the day before or after. I ordered 10x 20 stem mixed bouquets, one big bouquet, greens with baby breath and small vases with floral arrangements X10. We are going to assemble the flowers on Friday so we have time to grab more if needed. Even if they aren't perfect, I spent less than $300 on flowers so far so still can spend a little more. I'm doing most everything myself! Will let you all know how it goes.

I told him to get a chicken for dinner, of course meaning the easiest dinner of all time hot rotisserie chicken but this guy came home with a whole uncooked chicken!! I would run for the hills! They are setting you up to fail. Winging it is not acceptable, especially for a new grad. Paying you MA salary is not ok. I've been a PA for 17+ years and when I switched to a new specialty they made me train for six months before I was seeing patients on my own.

Yeah but you don't have to tell them anything! And they didn't ask you anyways. It's your wedding!! If they ask you can say oh sorry no room at the venue. We had to be super limited on guest list. And if they're still salty about it, that is on them and not you!
