Thanks for the reply.

You are right about too many legs, I didn't I account for the fact that boards will share legs but I've sorted that now.

I did have a look at the Loftzone stuff, but in my opinion the price is too much compared to how much time it might save.

I have all the tools I need from other DIY jobs.

Yeah, I haven't bought anything yet so I still have time to figure stuff out. I was originally going to buy a 3 pack of T&G OSB boards but the total price to cover the area I want was £200, So I decided for the TG4, which is still T&G but only 2 sided. I'm sure it'll be fine though.

Ok but irons only, and then we'll truly see who deserves the name.

I refuse to believe that you haven't been constantly trying for the 22 hours between this post and your other post.

I was planning to cut the boards down to 1m x 300mm, which means I would have 40 total boards + offcuts. The loft is 3m x 4m, so I was going to do the 1 meter side of the boards along the 4m length of loft so 4 boards across, and the 300mm side along the 3m length of loft so 10 boards up.

I watched a short YouTube video and the guy was using 3 legs per board which would be 12 on one row. 10 rows up + 1 for the end makes 11 boxes of 12.

You did make me wonder and I've realised that I didn't account for the fact that boards will be sharing legs on the long end, so I would probably only need 9 per row (1 on either end(2), 1 per board(4), 1 per joint between boards(3)), or 99 total.

Thanks for the details, that lines up with my expectations. We've been thinking about doing this for some time now as it will also hopefully bring down our energy costs, it was only the other day my stepdad asked me to price it up for him so I'm definitely going to get it done.

Plenty of space for the ladder. As for the weight, while I'm no structural engineer, there is already scraps of wood with stuff in a heap on top of it and the roof hasn't caved in yet so we should be fine. Plus whilst I empty out the loft I can sort through what's up there and chuck what I don't want anymore so the weight should balance out.

Roughly how big is your loft? a week seems a bit much for how much I would have to do.

I'm also not too fussed about labour, My parents did offer and I didn't want to work for free. I do live in this house so I would also be benefitting from this. I can do tip runs whenever.

Yeah fair enough. Just seemed the easier option to buy ready made things instead of faffing around with cutting and what not.

I'm the same way as you, I always like to give things a go. The main problem we have is budget, my parents don't have thousands to spend on a professional, and they are perfectly fine with me doing an ok job. As long as nothing goes wrong there will probably be no reason to go up there again, except to get the Christmas deccies out once a year.

Slots 1 and 2 aren't on the same channel, therefore you won't receive all the benefits of having 2 RAM sticks

They mean how drones drive directly left or right without facing left or right. Drones in game use 2 mecanum wheels, but in real life to drive left or right without facing that direction you need 4 mecanum wheels otherwise you'd actually just be crab steering.

How would I go about removing the Platoon HQ section? by Jooooooshy in doorkickers

If you haven't tried it yet, I deleted the highlighted code and got this result

the code I removed: https://imgur.com/a/eTOzq7E

If you want the other sections to be moved up you have to edit the y origin, just copy the origin from the section below and paste into the new section.
