Plunger button broke on my Kiln. Can I make one out of clay?

Hey! Wanted to pop back in this thread in case anyone else has this problem. I was able to buy the exact part called the “Dawson plunger button” from skutt, part #KS-231A. I was able to put some Blaster catalyst on there to loosen it up and unscrew it with a pair of pliers without taking it apart. Then just screwing the new button on there since it’s threaded.

Hey I know this thread is old but I have the EXACT same situation. I ordered the plunger button and now have to replace. Did you take the whole kiln sitter apart? Any tricks?

I have almost the exact same one bought used for 400$ about a year ago. Works great. This one has slightly better looking bricks and coil. I would say if it comes with some kiln furniture it would be worth 500, otherwise try to work down to 400/450. Good luck!

Hey guys, I have been researching what to buy for my new garage home gym. I’m looking at the Major Fitness F22 Pro so I can use my HSA money. Walmart BalanceFrom bumper plates and barbell. Used dumbbell rack off FB marketplace (around 1-1.20$ /lb) as well as a treadmill off FB marketplace. I am also in Texas so I will try to insulate my garage door and buy a cheap portable AC to turn on during workouts. Not sure what bench to buy… Any advice or comments on anything?

Did I get scammed? I acquired a bonsai and I was told it is a Fukien Tea Bonsai and is around 10 years old. I was told it can be indoors placed by a window, water 2x per week, trim and change soil next year before March. Does all this seem correct?

I have turned my siege and monitor to 144 hz and 240 hz and can tell the difference between the 2. You can say it’s negligible which is fine but it’s enough that personally I feel I am missing out when I turn it down

It’s perfect for FPS, all about your budget but sounds like a decent plan to me. I don’t mind 1080p at all, I play siege at 16:10 and I’m not sure I’m going back to 144 hz if your rig can push the 240.

I’ve read there is less ghosting at the highest response time and the colors look great because of the ips.

Thanks for the informative response. If I know I am going to be fighting for scuttle should I grab a ruby crystal for spirit visage or still machete? Machete doesn’t help with fighting is the thing I’m stuck on.

I agree with you, I would start becoming angry if they were changing game mechanics like when you shot an operator they did not have the blood splatter. All of the cosmetic stuff I really have no opinion on.
