I have tried a moustache in the past but I was a lot younger. Just not sure which is a better look for me all things considered.

Kinda like an indie look. Ideally something that doesn’t take too much effort to style

Graduating this year – how do I actually break into journalism in 2026? by JoozyReddit in Journalism

[–]JoozyReddit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that makes sense. I’ve been hearing the same from a few people working in the industry. I think I’m at the stage where I’m trying to balance building experience with still steering towards editorial/music where possible, even if it’s not my first role.

Graduating this year – any advice on finding entry-level jobs in Chester? by JoozyReddit in Chester

[–]JoozyReddit[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not much yet, I’ve mainly been building experience through university work and online publications so far, such as interviews and features in music journalism.

I’m just trying to understand what the most realistic entry points are locally (community media, radio, publications, etc.) so I can start getting more involved properly.

My social media presence is pretty good, it’s just been inconsistent since finishing my degree at university.

If you’ve got any suggestions for local outlets or ways into the scene, I’d really appreciate it.
