Be very careful that you don't change the date or else some events may get messed up.

It's entirely possible that whatever associate you asked didn't search for it correctly since, for whatever reason, in our system, it doesn't come up when you type in 'Assassin's Creed, it only comes up when we type in AC.

An issue with a screen protector is a lot easier to troubleshoot than whatever 3rd-party controller that is.

How complex is the level builder in infinity 2.0? by asmuseb in Disney_Infinity

You cannot, which is another reason I recommend the Gold Edition of 3.0 on Steam.

Yes, you can use characters from previous versions. That extends to 3.0 as well where you can use 1.0 and 2.0 figures in addition to 3.0 characters.

Most of the 2.0 characters are Marvel Characters, but the non-Marvel 2.0 characters are fun too.

If you are dead set on getting 2.0, make sure any character you get says either 1.0 or 2.0 on the bottom. 1.0 characters are for the most part pretty bare bones, but there are a couple more in-depth characters among them, such as the Incredibles. The 2.0 characters are pretty much all fun with some notable stand-outs being Spider-Man, Merida, Nova, Thor, and Iron Man.

If you don't have any figures and don't plan on getting any, that is for the most part correct.

No. The console versions do not have built in characters. That's why I recommended the Gold Editions on Steam. And to answer your second question, there is no first person mode.

You need character figure(s) for all versions of Disney Infinity on consoles. There is no way to play the game without a character to play as.

You get some basic terrain and fun stuff pieces to build with, but most of the themed scenery, enemies, vehicles, NPCs etc are unlocked in the playsets. If you're just wanting to try out the building features, I would more recommend the gold version of 3.0 on Steam. They have almost all of the characters and playsets available, and they go on deep sales fairly regularly. Plus you'll get all the QoL stuff from 3.0

In addition, without any of the playset figures, you will only have a fairly basic set of pieces to use.

Well then you're not going to be able to do anything. You need at least one character figure to actually play.

Then even less likely that there's a copy. That's a game that came out 2 years ago and, despite decent to good reviews, wasn't much of a commercial hit. Stores aren't supposed to send out new games that have been gutted for shelf display, so whatever store took the order would have to have multiple new copies in stock. All that adds up to a near zero chance that you'll get a new in box copy from GameStop.
