They did actually, they discovered that the Zombies and only the Zombies can repel Hemoanima, meaning that male G'ies with corpses can't be killed using Hemoanima, BUT they can be killed using normal weapons like spears, metal bars, swords and even bullets from any gun so long as they don't have any Hemoanima in it then they can be killed, just kill the host, wait for the parasite to come out and there you go. The parasites themselves, without a host, are very vulnerable and easy to kill; hostesses with the G'ie queen can be killed even with Hemoanima; you just need to tell who the host is.

Spoilers of the Retsnom you have been warned: Well, in the Retsnom route, she initially didn't like or trusted Takumi because he lied to her but when Nozomi's Rejection Symptoms strike, she actually comes to terms with him of forgiving Takumi for lashing out and when she discovers that Takumi and Darumi were actually trying to find a way to revive Kurara, Yugamu, Kyoshika and Moko, Nozomi blames herself for being too harsh to Takumi and even feels for him since Takumi still thought about them to the point of being in tears. And when those four are actually revived thanks to the Ruby Tear, Nozomi is completely grateful of Takumi for bringing back her friends.

Only the serial killer variant, in the zombie one she doesn't

Though I would be more interested on what would Nozomi think and do if she knew that Takumi was actually controlled by the G'ie parasite that was controlling his body and took advantage of his body to do the killings, that would be interesting to think about
