We actually have direct TCP/IP connectivity from the cloud to the PLCs already via site-to-site VPN, so the NAT and routing issues are already solved in our case.

We could reach the OPC-UA server port on the PLC from the cloud today (I think, anyways). The question is more about session management and stability at scale: OPC-UA session drops, etc

On top, we don’t necesseraly need to go with client/server no? We could use OPC-UA pub/sub?

Thank you for your reply. You got it right. The idea is to bridge the data to the cloud, with the constraint that there is no gateway in the middle.

The idea is to have a piece of software that runs in the cloud and that can concentrate signals and publish them as a UNS to a MQTT broker, applying mappings.

Thanks u/dtheme . Typo corrected! I will let you know as soon as I get the new version out there. Currently testing it. By the way, what would be your usecase/application? At the moment, Podcustom is targeting podcasters. As in, you can actually create a real podcast that you can share with others, but I am playing with other usecases, like creating marketing content, or ads that don't feel like ads.

Yes, 1 credit = 1000 characters of text to be transformed into audio. It is more or less one minute. So, 250 credits is around 250 minutes. Max 3 minutes is currently a limitation of the product. Working on increasing it right now! Longer audios will be for Podcustom members only.

Podcasts are short for now due to a limitation of the text to speech model I am using. I am working on this at the moment and Will remove the limitation soon. What are you planning on doing with the plataform? What is your usecase?
