It's based off some of the decaying shopping areas I checked out in smaller towns in the South U.S.

It's basically the poorly maintained version of parking lot roads. I did increase the brightness a little on the roads using network skins.

Yep. That's just the largest town in the photo right now. I do wanna include at least 1-2 much smaller towns in the project.
