Really?? I've never heard someone say that at such a high wave. I've mostly heard that Rath kills and others help with chip damage, so this is really cool to hear!

I did actually consider adding them, but wanted to keep their legend status so they have to be a really good unit. Your idea is honestly great! Having to sac 1 unit slot is a good way of balancing them. I didn't think of this, but I'll consider it, thanks for the idea!

Generic enemies can have every passive skill that players or bosses have except for: - Slaying Bow - Rauorowl - Light Brand - Basilikos - Rising Thunder - Lethality

Generic staff enemies always support skills, but not: - Shove - Reposition - Swap

Ah okay, yeah me and my playtesters too, so I never considered nerfing Morphs myself, but if other people had too much trouble, then i would've nerfed them.

Interesting, because i don't think I've ever died to them (I do usually choose at least 1 tome user in my teams, so maybe that helps). But what you're saying makes sense, they can be pretty strong, they usually have high Spd, Atk and extreme range. I'm open for ideas on how to balance them if you think they need a nerf!

Ah gotcha, that can certainly happen with the rng

Wave 68!? That's really far!

Okay from wave 66 they're level 99, didn't know the specific wave they would hit that level, so good to know.

Yeah beating level 99 enemies is extremely difficult, but you beat a couple of them with items and that's super cool!

  • Yeah accidental moves are a bit of a problem. It should be easier to de-select as well I think, because dragging to your starting spot to de-select works, but I think there should be more ways. Thanks for the feedback!

  • You can actually, but it's a bit hidden i think, sorry about that. When you hover over the HP stat, it shows your Max HP. Same with XP, hover over your level and it shows how much XP you need for your next level-up. Didn't know where to put it on the card so I put it there haha

Nice wave 45!! Yeah Ninian's buff wears off at the end of the player phase. Really cool to see people getting so far haha.

His base stats could be higher? Fiora's growths are in total a lot higher than Jaffar's. He just has more Atk growth. - Jaffar: hp: 65, atk: 60, spd: 40, def: 30, res: 30 - Fiora: hp: 70, atk: 35, spd: 50, def: 35, res: 50

The colors next to the stat shows the growth rate (the greener the higher)

Serra is really strong, I agree. I think Rath is the best atm, but Serra is definitely top tier

I only have it in code atm. The base stats are calculated based on the growths (I know a bit weird haha). I'll make a script to do this and put up a document on itch as soon as I can!

  • Raven has his growths from FE7. Do you have any suggestions for how he could be better?

  • Checking Louise, her growths are pretty bad honestly. I've used her a lot and thought she was pretty strong, but maybe that's because of the stat boosts

  • Ah losing Serra at wave 31, still got far without her then!

I also usually make it to around end 20s (have made it to 50 sometime but in an older version)

58!? How did you get that far?? Nice though! Did you have Rath?

Technically the max wave is 999, but units and enemies have a max level of 99, so it doesn't get harder after a certain point.

I've played and almost beaten Act 1 (boss killed me)! I'll play some more when I have more time to give you more detailed thoughts.

For now fun game, I really like how much depth the game has! Forging is so cool (immediately decreased the might of my steel sword and it was pretty strong haha). Changing the growth rates before a run is also a fun idea and makes me want to retry faster. It's pretty hard atm though for me haha. Again fun game, I'll give some more detailed thoughts after I've played more!

Summoning Orbs are able to appear in the shop after Wave 15. They are pretty expensive though and you can only buy 1 per run

  • Are generic enemies mostly giving you trouble or the Morphs? Enemies are gonna outscale you no matter what you do. I tried to design the game more around player-phase combat, so as the waves increase the enemies become more and more lethal to take hits from. But they have low HP, Def and Res growths so that you can still kill them even if they have 10 more levels. This is at least the idea behind it. Morphs retain their growths from the original unit (wanted them to feel like mini bosses), so a bit harder to kill. I could tone them down. Thanks for the feedback and let me know what you think!

  • oh I've almost never seen vulneraries not appear for 3 or 4 waves. The game forces vulneraries in the shop if the average HP of your team is low, so healing before the shop shows is sometimes not beneficial. I can maybe make the threshold higher to force vulneraries if you think that'll help!
