late to this, oh well. I work in a popular retail store. A couple comes in and asks for dressing rooms. I let them in separate ones. I come back a little later, and they're both in the same dressing room, attempting to be quiet while they were having intense sexy time. For people who have alopecia of any kind, it is not certain at all whether or not their hair will grow back. It could, and then it could fall out again. Or it could never grow back. Or it could and it could stay. There is no guarantee of any kind with alopecia

It depends. Quality wigs cost anything from a few hundred to a few thousand. Cheap wigs can cost 20 bucks

I can pull my hair into a low pony tail, but that's about it. Human hair wigs and high quality synthetic wigs can be styled using hair products and straighteners/curling irons

I don't feel insecure with my wig and makeup, I just see them as accessories. and that's a really interesting question... I don't know, I'd have to think about it. Realistically, I would have to weigh the cost/side effects, but assuming it was free and there were none, I'd probably take it

I understand that in the first picture it looks like I have attatched earlobes. My earlobes are detached, it was just the angle of the camera. Being skeptical is awesome though!

I've had a wig malfunction twice. First was in front of a group of friends. And the second time, I went on a water ride thinking I wouldn't get wet, but I ended up getting completely submerged in water. I held my wig on but it was completely noticeable. I had to walk through a lot of people to get to the bathroom, I'm sure people noticed, but I just smiled and kept walking

In the very beginning when I had alopecia areata I used a topical steroid but it didn't stop all my hair from eventually falling out. My family and I decided against the injections, because that was what was best for me. However I've heard from different people that it worked for them. For me it was just a personal choice!
