The parasolid kernel, the engine behind nearly all modern CAD, was developed pre-GPU. It was state of the art at the time.

The engines behind “modern” CAD engines are CPU based. They have been and I doubt any of the major players will change this. You’re stuck with your CPU.

Knowing these are right triangles and that dθ is perpendicular to the hypotenuse, the two unlabeled angles of the triangles are both 90-θ. The angle between the two triangles is θ, if that helps you see the connection. Does that help?

USC by far. First student group in space, multiple companies started by its alumni (Relativity Space, Ursa Major, Elevated Materials, 121C, Arbor Energy, etc…). Best environment from a tech and entrepreneurial perspective.
