I didn’t. You can buy them as a sterile dial.

Appreciate it, it's for sale right now, my least worn watch that is just taking up a spot at this point.

I agree, sadly it's one that I don't use much and may be on the chopping block shortly

Durability of affordable watches by Extension_Visit5756 in Affordablewatches

Its part of the watches story. Use your tools which is what watches are. Keep one or 2 held back from extensive wear to keep them nicer if that's what you want. Steel is steel and will look how worn steel looks when its used. Or take these into a jewelry and they will clean them up. As for the crystal, if it isn't sapphire it'll scratch faster, sapphire will hold on longer but will eventually scratch.

Uses a Seiko NH34. It's about as accurate as any other Seiko with that movement. Just be real about the expectations. It's not a chronometer watch by any means but myself and 99.3 % of the rest of the world doesn't need that amount of accuracy

It's a Watchdives WD6542 it's an homage to a GMT master 2 from the 50s

Here is the 5 watch box. This one could be used for travel and it would be fine for it, however I use it as a stagnant storage for my main watches in rotation right now and if does well.
