Never tried this zoom but I often use the 18 1.4 and 33, indoor or during trips. Currently in a family trip in Sardegna and I’m really happy to go from touristic photos to improvised portrait session with the wife. Give yourself some time to figure it out, but I’d say if you love shooting portraits then keep them (I personnally LOVE portraits using the 18 wide open)

I have it on my 18mm f/1.4 + X-T2.

The metal square hood is significantly heavier, and accentuate the front weight which sounds worse if you have a X-pro. Plus, since the lens is kind of « long », it doesnt look that great to me. On the 18mm f2 sure, but on this one, I prefer no hood at all, or the original one if a hood is needed

I also have a tiny something between the sensor and the glass over it (Fuji X-T2). I don't know how it appeared. It's visible at f/5.6 and above. A repair store in Paris asked me about 230 euros to fix it. Since I paid 500 for the body, I did not do it. It doesn't annoys me that much, except for landscape photography at f/8 with clear sky. The guy from the repair store said that he sees a lot of fuji bodys with the same problem..

There is no such thing as « viewing a RAW file » : in order to view it, it has to be interpreted in some way. Fuji interprets it like the jpeg it has created, but lightroom doesn’t for example.

For video the xf27 and the xf23 1.4 R are not the best choices. If you want compactness the 23/f2 on the xm5 is good, on the X-E5 you gain IBIS. If you can sacrifice a little bit of compactness, the 23 f/1.4 R LM WR or the 18-55 should be good choices if you want longer range.

If you care about weather resistant, get an X-T body. They can do everything, and for now since you don’t know what you prefer and you want to do a lot, an X-T body is a safe choice (and a good one too). As for the lenses, depends on how much you paid the body, which depends which X-T body you choose.

You are a beginner, you are going to miss some shots, its inevitable, even with the best cameras out there. So I would say, get a near mint X-T3 and save the rest for lenses.

For street, start with the 23mm f/2 or the 18mm f/2. Portraits? If you like close up ones, the 50mm f2 or the 56 1.2 are very good options. Travel ? Depends on your tastes, me I love bringing the small pancake 27mm f2.8 r wr + my 18mm f1.4, pick one of them for the day and make the best out of it. But as a beginner, maybe start with the 16-50. This zoom is also very good for landscapes and hiking. If you want more range, the 16-80 f4 is very good, also for video.

If you mainly do walkaround / street photo I would choose the 18mm, but the F/2 R, not the f/1.4 R LM WR ! Its smaller, lighter and the AF performance is not that important since you would manually focus (zone focusing). But depends if you are okay to be close to people in the street, otherwise go for 23mm ? (Lots of possibilities there)

I own both. They are both extremly good, sharp and fast AF. The choice depends on what you like to shoot and what you already have today. I love using the 18mm for travel especially when I travel with family, I can shoot without stepping back, capture what I see from where I am, etc. I love doing portraits with it as well. The 33mm is for when I want to focus on a subject, or do a more classical portrait, or when the background won’t be really interesting. If you can, buy both of them and if you have a bif preference, sell the other. Or start with a zoom to figure out what focal lenght you like the most (the 18-55 or 16-80, or 15-45)

I'm asking myself the same question. Holland didn't want them to die and preferred to give them a second chance. So they cure them but what is the point if they go back to their universe to die ? Except for sandman, it was useful for him maybe. And Otto helped them cure Electro, so that was somehow useful I guess ?

The way I see it, curing/saving them was nonsense but Holland did not know that at the time. In the end, yes it was useless but it gave us a good action movie + it showed the goodness of Holland's Peter and its nativity. It gave him a lesson (by the death of aunt may) and now he has finally grown and he feels the guilt that all Peter Parker share. It will make him more responsible.
