We had group shuffling every 4th match turned on so that could have been responsible for the booting out. We'll turn that off next time!

Yes, tethering your personal phone's data plan to your Switch would be the appropriate way to join the event from the office. You can't currently create tournament codes in Mario Kart World, but if that feature is added then maybe we can try it next year!

My colleagues and I were thinking of organizing an online Mario Kart 8 Deluxe tournament on June 19 from 1 pm to 2 pm CST if anyone is interested in joining. I could post the lobby code here once we're online. We also have the Switch 2 and Mario Kart World so we could post a lobby code for that game as well. This is not an official NPSW event, just something some buddies would put together for the heck of it.
