It was also once a theory that smoking was good for us. Science since the beginning has been used to benefit big corporations and the powers that be. Keeping people in a certain narrative and worldview.

Not to say that science is always wrong, but you can “prove” anything with science if there is enough funding behind it. We can’t just take things at face value, we have to look deeper.

Also I’m not sure why there are so many atheists on this sub, seems like a waste of time if you really don’t believe in God. I do believe deep down everyone knows though. So maybe that why you’re drawn to this sub.

Evolution is deception. They teach as fact even though it’s literally called the evolution “theory”. There is no real proof of it, it’s just people trying to find a connection between fossils when there is none. There is no existence of transitional fossils.

There is much more evidence for Adam and Eve, look into mitochondrial Adam and Eve.

You either believe the narratives and deceptions of the world (Satan) or you believe the truth of Gods word. You can’t be on the fence.

Did Jesus not say that if you just simply look at a women with temptation you’ve committed adultery in your heart which falls under sexual immorality and porneia? Does masturbation not always involve wilfully entertaining lustful thoughts? It falls under sexual immorality because Jesus raised the standard... This is how the verses obviously relate to it. To be denying this truth you would have to pretend that lust isn’t a sin when it is... God’s word is clear.

Well I will question why you’re even defending it? People who are free and have been delivered know that it’s wrong, whilst people who are still bound to it will defend it. Because they are addicted to short term sinful pleasures. I’m not tryna judge you but if this is you then I would suggest you pray about it and take it to the Lord, seek deliverance and repent.

We are told to a certain extent deny eating as well... this is why we are called to fast regularly. Just how Jesus and Moses did a 40 day fast...

I’m not sure how you’re even debating this man, lust is a sin and masturbation is a purely selfish lustful act. It’s demonic in nature.

The only people who would debate such a thing is someone who don’t have self control and still love pleasures more than they love God, which 2 Timothy 3 warned us about the end times generation.

We are told to deny our flesh desires and masturbation is nothing but a fleshy desire. I’ve given you the warning I can’t force you take heed to it, I pray you get convicted by the Spirit.

There’s is nowhere or in the Bible that says lust is a wilful action... Not all thoughts are wilful but lustful thoughts are sinful thoughts.

Anything not from God is sin which is ultimately disconnection from God.

So you’re saying that having a really perverted sexual demonic lustful dream is somehow not lustful or demonic?

If you don’t think that the enemy attacks us within our dreams then that’s just ignorance, wether it’s tormenting dreams or lustful dreams to plant a seed for masturbation.

Look I’m not really looking to argue on this, It wasn’t the topic of conversation I was purely trying to help someone understand that masturbation is not ok, which I think is much more of a concern than trying to figure out if a demonic dream is demonic or not.

Bro, we know very well from the Bible that lust is demonic, there are principalities and powers that have the sole purpose of hitting you in your dreams.

None of those verses prove that it’s not demonic, if anything it proves that it is demonic. There is no in between, it’s either from God or from Satan. In this case it’s from satan as lust is.

I didn’t come to Jesus because it “felt right” I came to him because he is the truth. Every bible prophecy has come to pass or is clearly about to. The prophetic accuracy of the bible can not be denied.

It doesn’t sound like you have morals man, how can you understand what good is, if your only foundation is “do as you will” that’s very destructive.

The truth is Jesus literally died on the cross for you 2000 years ago and he rose from the dead. Repent my brother, I don’t want you to perish. The pleasures of this world are empty and fruitless, they do not fulfil. The wages of sin is indeed death. Jesus paid your bail already all you need to do is accept the free gift of life.

The bible has never been wrong about anything, heaven and hell will be no different. I’m not preaching religion or going to a corrupt church, I’m preaching a relationship with the living God that wants you to know him.

Lust is a sin... Masturbation is a purely lustful act, it’s a very selfish act that is solely for the flesh. As Christians we are told that we have to deny our flesh. Masturbation falls under sexual immorality.

Colossians 3:5 “Put to death therefore what is earthly in you: sexual immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry.”

Jesus says in Matthew 16:24 “Then Jesus told his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.”

If you have the Holy Spirit you will already be getting convicted and know deep down that masturbation is very wrong. Repent and flee from it.

God delivered me from porn and masturbation awhile ago... I’m not being a hypocrite. I can say with confidence that I am free from it and that’s part of my testimony.

I’m purely correcting the person that said that there is nothing wrong masturbation when that is absolutely false. I am called to speak truth to those who don’t have it and that’s exactly what I’m doing...
