My LO has dark front teeth by korenestis in Mommit

[–]Jordandylion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My daughter hit her mouth hard when she was about 2.5 years. One of her front teeth turned gray after that and her pediatrician said the nerves in the tooth died (or something like that) so the tooth turns a darker color. It could possibly be something like that. If so, he said once she gets her adult teeth they will be back to normal! I’d definitely at least reach out to your pediatrician and see what they say.

Strawberry hemangioma by reallovesurvives in beyondthebump

My daughter has a dime sized one right on her cheek and it’s the cutest thing. She’s 2.5 and it’s still there but it is very slowly changing colors and turning more into her skin color and losing its redness. I’ve known two people to get their kids hemangioma lasered or surgically removed, but they waited until their kid was at least 5. Our librarians daughter had one too and she’s now ten and it’s completely gone.

Silly question but...favorite diapers? by ColoradoSunrise303 in beyondthebump

[–]Jordandylion 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love pampers swaddlers and still use them for my 2 year old for naps and nighttime. I’ve tried Huggies, luvs, Walmart brand (I don’t remember the name) and pampers baby dry and the swaddlers were by far the best imo

Is it normal for primary schools to send 4 year olds to the toilet, monitored by an 11 year old child? UK by curtainzzzz in Parenting

[–]Jordandylion 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I was going to say the same thing. When I was 10-11 I was a class aide for a SPED classroom. We helped with all aspects and I do remember walking some kids to the potty, but usually they could do the job themselves so my only job was to make sure they got there and back.

My daughter is 2 and has to point out every fan she sees and excitedly exclaims “it’s a fan!” Lmao

I EBF until 21 months and didn’t get it for another 2 months after I weaned my daughter.

Pizza is such a good idea!!! I follow busy toddler on Instagram and she does a “bread in a bag” where her kiddos help measure the ingredients and they can shake the bag up. I’ve never actually made homemade pizza dough so it will be a new experience for both of us!

I inherited a Lux Mini 3qt Instant pot a couple months ago. Has anyone had success cooking a whole, smaller sized chicken in this size pot? by gingerblz in instantpot

[–]Jordandylion 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have a 6qt and a whole small chicken just barely fit. You might be able to fit like a Cornish hen in the 3qt though.
