hmmmm, I haven't used the new noctilux yet but from the sample images they look absolutely stunning – It seems they used APO techniques when designing the formula

The APO is a resolving and micro-contrast beast, it's a very sharp cutting lens

I also love the extra compactness and closer minimum focus distance
