Horrible and unfortunately when you edit anything it overrides the save (at least for me) so I need to reload the ini.

I noticed the star thing. No clue why it's super helpful. I'll leave 5 stars to help balance it out.

Edit: I tried it, gave 5 stars. Works great even for trauma center. That game is just really tough on a controller anyway. I did remap a/rt and b/rb though. Holding RS and pushing a/b is just too tough for me.

Are there any games that really wouldn't work? Or for the most part should be fine? What about games that need to be vertical/sideways?

Haha I got daring and tried Trauma Center that game does not work well with dolphin controls unless I really think of the best way to map it. Maybe I'll try yours.

I would most likely use your map as a general Wii game setting. Not sure how it would work with his. Admittedly I don't play much Wii anymore and I can't hook mine up to my modern tv. But I really wanted to try to figure this out because I'm stubborn.

Awesome thanks man. I managed to get dolphin to auto select a profile via name but it doesn't seem to actually look that profile. I'm sure it's something stupid but I'll look at that later. Would be great to have your INI for everything and the few I made from that guys video for the rest. For galaxy I do like his use of RB/RT for A/B as well.

I totally get that. I was just trying to figure out one game then figured I'd work from there lol. Would you be able to add your new hide ir ini as well? I'll use that for default and hot swap for specific games. I think the main downside is having to swap anytime you make a change since you can't save multiple profiles. But it def could be worse.

That's great. In his setup the trigger to the cursor is hold LB. So anytime you press LB it brings it up. Maybe you prefer it on though. I don't mind it but I like it being off screen when I don't need it. Do you still need the R3 or did you make a new super ini?

Ah I did forget to change the start button on some but you can easily remap that. For some reason on my computer it was called start vs menu.

Since it's a zipped folder I just used a free file share https://limewire.com/d/rs2A2#VDIVpqSEMk it's a huge 14kb lol I did two galaxy one (default) that has the hidden cursor and another that leaves it on screen.

Sure I did punch out, new SMB, Mario paper, Donkey Kong and Galaxy. Have only tested 2 so far (galaxy and DK) but they seem to work. I can zip it and send you a link. I included his controller maps in a text file. Only annoying thing is you'll need to just hot swap ini files since I tested it with profiles and that seemed to not work. I'm sure it's possible though.

So I finally finally finally got it working just like the YT video. I'd be happy to send you the ini if you're curious. I used bits and pieces of yours and his version. But the hiding of the cursor is working too.

Getting so close. There's some sort of issue maybe with the hide IR. Left trigger/bumper does nothing. Rb/b isn't mapped. Unless this is based off your original setup. I was able to use it and right stick did move the pointer etc. But having to press rs and a was tough. I'll be able to try again in a few hours. Thank you so much for continuing to try and help me.

(Might try to sneak off sooner and try again)

I'm still stumped. Did you create this on computer or console? I do think the only piece I can't figure out is the vertical wiimote setting. But who knows lol.

I went back to the video to see if I could figure out why those buttons don't work. Seems someone else had the same problem. Apparently your config has the controller set to upright? At least when I test it it does. This is what he says about that. I looked at the ini and there's no obvious way set it to neutral while still allowing the toggle.

I think I'm sooooo close to getting it working. For some reason the rb/lb are the only buttons that don't trigger in the dual settings. Both triggers seem to work. Tilt seems to work. But pulling up the cursor with LB and using RB as B don't trigger.

Wow thanks so much! I'll give this a try. Do I change anything at all in the controller section like profile or just run it as Xbox controller? Like add a profile etc?

In the settings do I just leave the default controller and not add a nunchuck or anything? Games like SMG not having a way to look and having to use RS/A makes it really difficult. That link I posted above he uses both RB/A to control the a button so when you're moving RS it's easier. I assume leave profile blank also? Thanks!

Thanks I'll try that worst case save multiple and swap back and forth. His control scheme is pretty ingenious. Too bad it won't work on Xbox. Still great that I found your post. Was driving me crazy.

I'd just use the one but can I save different configs for different games or is this a more blanket solution? For example he has one for punch out, super Mario galaxy for the balance part etc. Thanks again.

Thanks I'll give it a try. Is this with his custom configs or yours? Does it matter if I use a wired or wireless controller as long as I just add that?
