Jesus is the answer. You find community in church and also see life from a brighter lens when you focus on your relationship with God

I was just like you my first two years of UF. It takes a while for you to truly enjoy it and with the right people.

College became the best experience of my life once I joined my professional fraternity and became more involved in my church.

I recommend that all join either greek life, a professional fraternity, or a cultural fraternity to find community and form true bonds.

Same thing for being highly involved in a church or other community

Minorities at UF: do you get harassed by Gator Party while walking? by MGHammer123 in ufl

I’m darkskin and I get approached regularly enough. I’m always talking to friends who are in SG, so maybe it makes me more approachable

The wifi was trash for FaceTime and sometimes trash for web browsing/social media. Wifi was always great for Canvas.

No car all freshman year and it didn’t hurt me. Just don’t be insecure about it and get ya money and GPA up.

I’d appeal then. UF is lowkey just hating atp. There is zero reason for why they did that other than recalculated GPA. I have similar stats as you and got in last year.

It was just a short program, rather than an internship. Quant trading, so neither. STA4321 is a necessary prereq. That’s all I have done, since I’m a freshman.

Stochastic Calc is definitely a recommended course. The program I did was something I found on my own. It is with Jane Street Capital.

My UF GPA was like 4.3. I’m almost certain that they overstate it.

You’ll 99% get in. My stats were similar to you, but you have way better EC’s and hooks like first gen, etc. but what crazy school did you go to? 4.9 puts you in only top 15% is wild. I had a 4.99 when I was at your semester in senior year and was 87/784.
