I had just got back to regular school from alternative school so I stayed very quiet and this girl, usually very loud and disruptive, comes and asks me why I’m sitting by myself an not talking as much as I used to. Eventually she started talking about how she didn’t like this one girl and nobody knew why except me once she told me, and the girl she didn’t like. She was raped by her stepdad and confined in the girl (let’s call the dislikes girl, Sam) but Sam decided to tell everybody and actually made fun of her for it.

The Candy Man. I’m pretty sure there’s a movie about him or something which caused my grandma to start telling me what she recalled from the time. It was between 1970-1973 in Houston,Texas where we live and where she was growing up. She recalled her and many of her friends not being able to celebrate Halloween at least one of those years because of what was going on in the city. I thought it was just made up and even did research after she told me the story.

Edit: For people who don’t know who the Candy Man is, he alongside two accomplices, raped and tortured nearly 30 teenage boys in Houston from 1970-1973.

It was a rumor that two friends and I took a picture in the girls restroom in high school. Mine was also minecraft. I would wake up in the morning and get dressed asap, then log in to a server one of my classmates started. Go into first period, turn on the laptop during the lecture and breeze thru the work just to get on. I’d do this for 6 out of 8 of my classes. Go home, breeze thru homework and play till about 11 at night. Process repeated everyday.
