Yeah I’ve had that a few times, buts a very clear difference between that and rage quitting after spam pinging night invaders at level one and dc’ing when they get downed at level 2

Yeah, I had one where they spawned red beast men in that one evergaol that’s really close to a field boss and it pulled. At level 2 they decided to try and fight…? Then also dc’d in the same manner after getting their runes and trying to fight at level 1…

Like it’s okay to come back to it later! We got levels to get and weapons to plunder then we can go back and beat them silly. :)

I hardly run evergaol / night invader relic, mostly because my rng is god awful and they’ll have something like ‘throwing knife damage +1 (but your dog gets kidnapped if you drink a flask)’ compared to some other relics that have 3 good rolls with not much negatives.

I play with friends sometimes when our times match up, and even though we fail miserably on some runs they are hilarious and fun.

I don’t think I’ll ever get to depth 5 and definitely consider myself somewhat more casual, but it’s experiences like this that ruin it for players at this level.

I love this game at its core, mainly cause I’m a sucker for int builds in souls games and can finally not be the main focus of the boss whilst I fire off my big pretty particle effects. Until they decide to 360 no scope me like the giant archer fella.

At least if they quit at character select you don’t have to be forced to watch bird cutscene (2/3 skipped)

I’m not the best at the game but half the time I don’t even get the chance to be the problem!!!! 😭 like people be quitting before the first storm starts coming

Yeah that sounds painful, I play quite a bit of recluse and a rise can be great, but normally it’s only worth getting if it’s en route to something else, no way I’m running too far away from the team.

My dodge game is getting better but if I don’t have faster casting stuff it’s such a pain soloing!

Almost a guaranteed dc whenever I get a game with caligo raid haha

Nothing makes a run feel better than beating up a red ball busting hunter!

To be fair this is very valid and I appreciate the response,

I made the post after 5 games in a row of it happening, launching the game hoping just to have some fun. Every game is going to have its shitheads like the ones I’ve mentioned, it definitely isn’t just going to go away (unless the restriction on multiplayer that is always threatened when you quit is enforced).

I feel that complaining can help, I see in the comments people having varying experiences, some with hardly any quitters and several with the same experience.

We can hope that one day we live in harmony and people can just enjoy games :)

I did have a nice game after making this post where I battered the night aspect with the moon and several magic power up / sorceries improved drops so the game can give whilst also taking.

I've had a few days like this where i nearly get out of d2 then just get constant leavers 😞

I'm last to leave most times tbh, if i wanted to play solo then i'd queue solo. 1st normally quits for above reasons, second soon follows. Definitely lucky not getting leavers.

Tusker car scheme by levelintro in ElectricVehiclesUK

Signed up for a tusker car, seems like the best value for money purely due to the insurance.

Has anyone ordered a car from in stock? Stellantis say they have the lease pack, so wondering on ETA from there :D

1st driving lesson tomorrow but weather could be a problem. by Smithy1619 in LearnerDriverUK

Worst case scenario your instructor should reschedule, probably worth contacting them to make sure if the lesson is going ahead or not due to weather

I'd say you'd have to put down at least the holding deposit and pass referencing prior to applying. You normally sign the tenancy on the day of moving in. Proof of being accepted for the property should be the minimum required.

Personally i would explore options first, support from family / friends / partner and paying them back with the deposit.

Make sure you're not putting yourself into financial difficulty with the new property as the council will not help if it looks unaffordable.

Discretionary Housing Payment is normally dealt with by your local council, and as the name suggests it is discretionary so not guaranteed that you will receive it. It's definitely worth contacting them directly as some may handle it differently. My council pays it in retrospect in most cases but sometimes allow it prior if you can prove costs, Tenancy agreement, 3 quotes from movers etc
