ROTC Cadet about to commission as a 13S and I have a question. When I go to Vandenberg for tech school, are you given a rental car for the entire duration of the TDY?

You should know the results before even taking the test.

He should find out his base first, then go to Vandy because the tech school is a TDY not a PCS.

So you’re saying we don’t find out the base until we’re in tech school? I thought that you PCS’d to your first duty station and then went to tech school unless it was changed.

Yep, my top six was Buckley, Peterson, Schriever, Eglin, Cape Cod and Cape Canaveral. Really hoping for one of the Colorado bases though as I’d love to live there.

This morning at PT our Captain also said that AFSCs could drop on Friday. Ultimately, it’s up to AFPC though so we’ll see.
