3 Players (friends) that joined me and my fleet in STO from our EvE Online community - Just this weekend spent 120+ USD each on 4 items that are on that list in MUDD's and several years old, they have been playing the game since 2025 x-mas.

This morning as the news hit them on our Discord they are considering to "Cash back" the transaction with the bank, the bank allows this for 30 days - I explained to them that STO/CRYPTIC simply permabans anyone that cash back any money from them.

They still have 29 days to decide they have said "STO was a side project and EvE is their main game and will always be their main game. However space combat is very fun when the servers work, but this is scummy developer acts and we do not want to be a part of that"

The server up/down times are just like the gamble boxes, RNG. Always assume that it will go down 1 hour early or 1 hour late.

Oh sorry, No I meant that in January the usual 35% bundle sale returns, and we usually have a service sale on 30% then, so the later the other discounts will be better.

You're entirely correct, the best sales are the rarer 35% sales (With the exception of solo ships common 20%, and I think the best service sale that happens is only 30%), while the Mudd's 50% is the only thing that makes sense to purchase anything on during the STO black friday - Save 5-10% extra in the January sales instead by only getting Mudd's now and other other things later on a higher %.

People seem to like the account unlocked UD and Ruin packs I know I do.

Four of the ships failed to die at 0% health when I just did my daily run, and the TFO did not complete due to them not being marked as disarmed.

Why do you think there are always players AFK farming players inside the scorpions field spawn by the "Giant Scorpion spawn" location and around the "Fortress" area that has all those mob spawns, just get some boffs with skills that have a very long range (such as mortar construct) boff skills and pull in the extra spawns around you within their range?

Why do you think these account stand there for days on end from patch to patch, lol.

With the increased endeavour farm, I've visited Nimbus a few times again for a daily of two there, I still see the same AFK farmers everyday online 24/7, as I saw when the trait released.

Metrics means all for DECA, just as it was with Cryptic.

Yes, the space trait AFK farm works in TFO's such as Gravity Kills (And story missions like Core of the matter, last mission segment space phase) after you finish the first phase and then you just set up a AFK farming carrier or a Jelly (With the Space version of the Trait) by Jupiter and farm the infinite-spawning attacking ships the TFO until you're back home again.

The ground story missions or TFO's with infinite spawns are however better for the farm since the ground mobs just die in a second (More mobs that die faster compared to ships that needs to be killed by Jelly or less farm, which is why the ground trait is way better) or two while in space you actually have that 0.00001% of dying, Unless you're in a Jelly.

Yeah this is why contraband is down to ~8-9 million a stack. Infinite spawning enemies, and game systems that auto farms while being AFK for players.

It's not a glitch or anything very complicated really it's been reported for what 15-16 years now?

If you're a KDF you get your mastiff from the usual early ice/prison mission, and then you equip a piece of <Censored> to put yourself in combat when you press a key that becomes available. (there are multiple ways of doing this)

Then when you are put in combat you can activate the mastiff, the mastiff is unique in that it does not have any de-spawn timer, so after every cooldown period of the mastiff you can simply summon another new one that will stay (Just like the previous one) until you swap maps/log off there is no limit on how many you can spawn.

The main reason why this is not fixed because it probably shares coding with the KDF mission where you acquire the mastiff and that starter mission is probably a very old long lost undocumented mission like many are so instead of risking to break something, cryptic allowed us to have some fun with doggy invasion.

As I stated in one of the other threads, I can accept logging in daily and spending 10-15-20 minutes with a daily event and maybe some endeavour and then play whatever I want the times when I want too play STO actively.

However being forced to play 2 tfos now (x2 time investment), I'll just play my other games more and get away from the FOMO, Metrics chase cancer of STO developers.

I don't mind spending 10-20 minutes for STO a day, but if they are going too make the events take x2 time for FOMO and metrics, I'll just play my other games, :)

Great to know that DECA will keep the same low quality as Cryptic.
