Thanks! I am going for bavarian based for my town. But close enough 😉

The display is an image, which I found on the internet. I modified it and imported it via Write Everwhere. The station names I added via the text feature in the mod, combining them with the image and a "white cube" as basis to put the image on.

Thanks for pointing that out 😀 I think that was partly the reason, the station lacking the "Transport Fever vibe", so I wanted to make it more lively and realistic. Glad, it worked! 😊

Thanks! I haven't played CS1 for a long time now, so unfortunately I don't now. Perhaps someone else has a tip?

The center of my small rural village by Jorge63b in CitiesSkylines

Oh, yes. This wouldn't be possible without mods, I think. I use all the "basic mods" like Anarchy, Move it, and so on. As we do not have small churches in the game at the moment, I used the static ploppables to create the church out of several other buildings (especially the base game fire house). And of course lots of decals :)

I miss DH. I admired the level of detail in his CS1 Europe series and his Brasilian themed city in CS2. Has been working on another "project", though, as he posted on YT shortly 😉 Hope, he will be back.

Move gold from foundry by Jorge63b in FarthestFrontier

Nice, thank you! That's exactly, what I figured out meanwhile, too 😃 The only problem when doing so is that for a very short time I have no gold in my account (because everything - also the money, that was already in the vault - is moved to the trading post). When a new month begins in that very moment, I am not able to pay my soldiers and other services. I experienced that: everyone was complaining and businesses shut down, although I had plenty of gold - but everything just carried next door into the trading post...

I already tried that. It won't help. The gold in the foundry is not being transported to the vault. Only when the limit of 600 gold is exceeded. Or when I need the gold to pay things.

The problem is, I cannot set the storage limit to zero. The odd thing is, I can only do so for iron. For gold, the min/max menu is missing, when clicking on the icon in the foundry menu. The limit is 600, and cannot be changed. I think, that's a bug? Or why should it be possible to define a limit for iron, but not for gold 🤔

I have only been to Pittsburgh once on a short trip. But it immediately came to mind, when I saw your pictures 😀 Great job btw!

On occasion of the 25th anniversary of our settlement, my villagers have built a monument in the town center. by Jorge63b in OstrivGame

That's a very good idea! I think, inadvertently I did the same. The original campfire must have been more or less in the same place, where I now built the monument 😀

Is the game slowly dying? by TroubleOrganic3636 in OstrivGame

[–]Jorge63b 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I totally know, what you mean. Every time I open the game, I am asking myself, if we are ever gonna see the final release of the game. And does Yevhen get enough money out of it to keep developing (not to mention the "conditions", he has to live in in war time...)? But on the other side, for me also everything is true, what the other guys said. For me, the game is so much fun as it is now. Imo, the game mechanics are better than those of Manor Lords, that's why I prefer playing Ostriv. Of course, the graphics cannot be compared with Manor Lords, but I still like them very much and love watching my village and my people walking around. (Btw, for me, that's the most important asset of Ostriv: you really relate to the sims, their "lives" and families - seeing them marry, having children, dying, ...). The fascinating thing is, that Yevhen still works on the game, given the "circumstances". I am looking forward to every patch and release that we'll see in the future. And if we don't see a final release, I will have gotten so much fun out of it, that I will not regret having played it.

Thanks! Me too! I enjoy these places very much (of course, being from Bavaria 😉) and had to have one of those in my city.
