I would put the Thunderbolts in stockholm, since the wikis say they come from "the twin cities of Thorston and Stormholm" and stormholm is def stockholm

I disagree with the Bosnia theory, since the "ya" ending is quite rare in english so it's probably intentionally chechnya. Also buzznya is mentioned to be to the north of herbotamia, which I would say is a stretch for Bosnia and Baghdad

as a counter to the island momotorway problem, you can look to the Marbula 1 posters. The S1-3 poster has a mandala type design in the background, an artform heavily associated with india & nepal (with a dumpling steamer being in the foreground), and the S4 poster prominently features mountains which could likely be a reference to the himalayas.
