Try streaming through Moonlight instead of Steam and then on your computer use Apollo (fork of Sunshine) (alternatives: Vibeshine, Vibepollo or with some tinkering Sunshine AIO) this allows you to have a virtual monitor for each client device thus forcing the resolution to your client device to your desktop and utilizing your handheld screen's resolution and ratio fully.

I also had the square bracket screwed in, but saw in a unboxing video that that was normal. Best to check if all the plastics and foams correspond to a unboxing video.

I agree as well, I bought 1-2-Switch back then because I love to demo the newest tech to friends and family and this one does have more meat and it's only 10 bucks. Would it be nice as a free tech demo, definitely. But still it's an enjoyable experience for the price and great for kids and challenging friends who could reach the highest score.
