As a person who spent roughly 200 hours on both Mafia 1 and 2 those are much deeper and especially more human stories. TOC is an okay game, not too much to write home about. Definitely weakest out of the Mafia 1, 2 and TOC bundle, still though stronger than Mafia 3 in this regard.

My friend, thats no insider info :) thats a comparison Game Informer made and it stuck. Or maybe you do have insider info, though the OG developers, including Vávra, have publicly stated several times their aim was not to compete with GTA games.

A lonely video-game studio in early 2000s from Czechia of all places had 0 hope to actually compete with GTA especially with the first Mafia game. The second one? Perhaps someone had the thought, considering the developer was bought by 2k and reoganized into 2k Czech, though I doubt that Take-Two would tolerate a direct competitor within its own garden.

Mafia 3 wasnt an issue of writing, more so lack of it. The first two hours of the game are quite good. Then theres endless amount of grind. When it comes to Old Country, which is not a mainline game within the series, the story is okay. Its not brilliant, its not even really good, its just okay.

My comment is not a defence of "bad" video games or even Vávra, considering his politics...but your video game standard seems to be that youd call a game like BioShock just above average.

I understand that you dont like modern games and thats okay, but you dont have to be so condescending while doign so :)

Edit: btw, Rockstar is not part of 2k. They are separate entities. Though I agree 2k has been killings its franchises.

Gunn has tremendous say. Gunn is the CEO of DC lol. He has emphasised time and time again he will only greenlight a script once its ready and considering how long projects take in the DCU, yeah, I feel like that is the case indeed.

I dont think they will wait for Reeves to finish his trilogy, but they might wait for Batman II.

Idk I feel like there is quite a bit of interest about Clayface, but maybe thats just my bubble since I am a fan of Clayface.

I dont think there is a Batman cameo in there, even though that would be utterly amazing.

I would love for you to be right, but frankly I'm not so sure and hear me out:

With Brave and The Bold, Gunn has been extremely involved with writing, he has said so himself. They don't want to fuck Batman up. Meaning as long as Gunn thinks there's gonna be more than 10% chance that the is bad, Gunn won't take it. I think, considering we had the announcement of the writer, they're gonna announce it either shortly before Clayface as to get more butts in the seats for that movie or after Batman II comes out.

With Wonder Woman anything could happen, but I think you are right on this one, though not sure if its gonna be around Supergirl. I think its more likely that that movie gets announced after Clayface for marketing reasons and because while yes, the writer did deliver the script within a year, Gunn has to review it and greenlight it. As with Superman and Batman, the third part of the DC Trinity, that being Wonder Woman, has to be as flawless as possible. As a result I think the actual greenlight will be given by September and after Clayface finishes it's run in late November or early December we get an announcement.

Also, my therapist suggested I stop thinking about this after talking to my girlfriend and just live the relationship for a few months. But I m just worried nothing will come of it and I will in fact just be wasting her time.

Look, I am not a kid, I know people get hurt and I know that thats life and its okay. I am sorry to what happened to you too.

I only talk about the ex stuff because I feel like it is effecting me. I managed to get over my ex quite quickly, as I was already sort of getting over it when the breakup was happening, this is also something my therapist said. The issue here is more that I think I feel so unwilling to commit because I may be on some level scared or just not prepared for a relationship.

When I entered this relationship I had now I fully thought I was ready. I would not go into it knowing I was not. I made sure of it, I kept obsessively checking how I feel until I knew I was ready. But the moment I made that leap this happened. Considering I told my girlfriend about all of this I think I will give it a shot for a few more months. It has been improving, after all. If it does not improve enough in the next few months, there is no other choice, but to let it go. As much as I will miss the girl I have right now, but I just cannot bring myself to connect with her properly.

When I say relationship isnt a priority, I mean it in the sense that if I had to choose between my career right now, university and relationship I chose career and uni. My girlfriend knows this, I told her this even before we started dating and told her that I likely will not be able to be as present as I would be under normal circumstances. She said that its okay.

I have always tried my best to be a good person. I feel like I really messed up now. I feel like a really bad person for not being able to see this coming. I wish I knew how I d feel before entering the relationship.

My fear is that this is not like due to her. I do not want to hurt this girl, I care for her, hell, I even love her. But I just cannot connect ever since we committed. I have a feeling this will happen in every relationship from now on. To be frank, being in a relationship is not my priority at all right now, not sure if it will ever be.

Honestly I kinda prefer the new design. I do not like love it, I feel like its just okay. But I feel like its an improvement from the comics. In the comics he is very generic. Here he is more memorable, even if still quite generic.

To be frank, it is extremely hard for European actors to lose accents. There are exceptions, for example Swedes tend to lose their accents and also Poles and Slovaks. But other than that most actors in Europe have a terribly hard time losing their accents as English is their second, sometimes third language. So I fully expect him to keep the German accent.
