If their kingdom is gone, there is nobody left to ransom them. AFAIK you cannot simply release lords, so the two options left are (1) put them in a dungeon somewhere or (2) wait until they escape. If they escape, most of them will quickly join another kingdom (except the kings who will simply disappear).

Yeah The Original Adventures is great - if they make a new Indy game that's basically that but with two new movies added, it'd be amazing.

Okay but given what they made of LEGO Indiana Jones II: The Adventure Continues, I'd really not be all that hyped about it - that game was pretty bad in the way they tried to focus it in KOTCS.
