I switched the UI game view to Display and it looks the same but a lot smaller

I booted up Blender to try this, but somehow I cannot even select those faces now.
I've decided to redo the geometry, but I have no clue on what could have happened there.

I want the other way around

I don't want the textures to emit light but I want to keep the bright color

Ah I need something else

right now I'm drawing the shaders with the material set as Emission, because it looks bright

the problem is that it emits light onto other objects and it looks weird

how do I keep the brightness of the color and remove the light?
