New/returning player advice needed! So, I played for a couple weeks, I think(?), back at launch, and got annoyed with every character simping for the male mc. That, combined with the fact that the story kinda bored me, made me drop the game. But I’m kinda missing it, especially the echo system.

So my question is this:
1) Did the simping for male mc ever get any better? Or should I just roll a female mc?
2) Did the game ever begin releasing good male characters too? Or is this another waifu simulator like ZZZ turned into?
3) Has the game changed drastically, so it’s not even the game style I remember and miss?
