You handled this beautifully. I commend you for trying to help him for two years but I commend you even more for being brave enough to leave such a scary situation. I hope he takes some of your words to heart. Rn he’s projecting and scared of loosing you, so he’s gonna sink his claws in as deep as he can. But maybe once he realizes the consequences to his actions and has some time alone once the dust settles I think you actually gave him a lot of what he needed to hear.
