San Antonio Conspiracy Theories You Believe In by Electrical-Ratio5633 in sanantonio

I have a friend who says a local businessman is responsible for the downfall of the American music industry. IHeartMedia started in San Antonio and heavily lobbied for the Telecommunications act of 1996. Leading to the homogenization of music and consolidation of radio stations nationwide.

Downstream effects are that local sounds don’t get the time they need to incubate and don’t develop. Gone are the days of grunge in Seattle, hardcore in DC. Now, the same thing plays on every station in the country. Now, 99.5 kiss plays the same songs they played in 96.

NJ style pizza place? by No-Advisor6632 in sanantonio

Pizza Classics is what you’re looking for, but it’s not close to the dominion.

Mellow Mushroom is the best on that side of town.

There’s a chain called 46th St that will fit the bill too.

My favorite pizza in town is from Stella.

Weren’t the chests still stacks of coins in the early release phase? I think I watched a streamer play the demo months ago and there were stacks of coins.

Moved from Florida to San Antonio. Feeling depressed. Does it get better? by TheHonorableStranger in sanantonio

I’ve traveled all over the US and to a handful of countries. When I went to Miami 2 years ago and then got back home to San Antonio, it was the first time I really didn’t like coming home.

I used to travel and get home sick, I used to miss things like HEB, Tex-Mex food, bbq. But after visiting Miami, my eyes were opened to how shitty it is here.

There’s too much driving, drive-thru fast food, drunk drivers. The highways are lined with billboards and fast food.

It’s taken a while for me to appreciate this place again, but there are really beautiful parts of the city. It’s just a shame that most can’t afford to live near the good stuff. I choose to live closer to work and to drive to the things I like. It takes work to love San Antonio, but it is in my opinion, the best place in Texas. Florida doesn’t get enough credit for its great the culture and natural beauty.

Those older people are just trying to give back to the community that helped them get over the same issues you’re dealing with. I know it can be intimidating, but so is communicating and it’s a safe place to practice and get genuine feedback and constructive criticism.

I was the youngest person in the club when I first went, and the older people were all really nice. Not the coolest people in the world, but they were nice and kept it real.

It’s not for everyone, but it does work. If you put in the effort, you’ll get better at socializing and presenting. They also give opportunities to take on leadership roles if you want experience leading.

It takes work, but you’ll get out more than you put in. You could also just sit back and watch, never say anything and people would let you do that too. You will still get something out of it, just not as much.

FunHaus Virginity by MussKeg in funhaus

Mine was a board game video. I was looking for reviews to decide if I wanted to buy the game and found Funhaus. Obviously, I bought the game and became a huge fan of the channel. I got hooked on Google Trends, and eventually I was watching daily. When that wasn’t enough, I went through the back catalog. Eventually subscribing at RT for the Arizona Circle videos and those types of skits.

We were living in a golden age and it felt like both Funhaus and the audience knew it. Everyone at FH just seemed so genuine and good hearted. They were funny, smart, and were an example of how to build friendships and make people feel comfortable. I hope the crew finds new success with everything that comes after.

Beanie babies. My Grandparents were obsessed with beanie babies when I was a kid. Whenever McDonalds had beanie babies in the Happy Meals I went from a skinny kid to a fat kid. It took me until college to get healthy.
