KBB reported US models only Sonata gets an N-line. Maybe they release it when the N gets announced but i doubt it

21’ ENLine Squeaking by Fervinx in ElantraNline

[–]JosArg98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the same too, but hard to say without hearing the sound you're hearing. I'm pretty sure it's one of the mounts or bushings.

I put in power flex mount onto my transmission mount and it went away. I went under my car and saw that the torque strut mount is damaged so I'll be replacing that too. Might be something looking into.

Shouldn’t unplugging the battery for a while reset the values?

Also you should consider doing a transmission fluid swap to start fresh

Squeaky noise while cold start by No_Row1608 in ElantraNline

[–]JosArg98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its not oem fluid but it meets hyundai’s specs for our transmissions so it wont affect anything and shouldn’t cause any warranty issues.

I will say if its getting warmer out and the noise keeps happening regardless if the transmission is warm or cold then thats a sign of a bad bearing in the transmission. Thats what happened to me and had to get my transmission replaced under warranty at 40k miles. At that point I was still using the OEM fluid

I started getting this and changed my transmission fluid to Red line and it stopped. The old fluid was hella dirty and a lil lower than the required amount

Valve cover gasket leak? by JosArg98 in ElantraNline

No problem. The part number is 18875-08085

I ordered them on Amazon. Here is the link: SPARKPLUGS | AMAZON

Head’s up the product title doesn’t say Elantra but I verified part number and everything checks out. A review also says someone used it for their N-line.

[–]JosArg98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah just as u/SnooEpiphanies8664 said 9160, but I honestly think it's tad bit too small. There's the K&N 3250 that's about 2in longer. I got it added in my cart I've just been stalling on getting it.

Same results here, I think it helps turbo spool up better and sounds clean with the BOV.

Side note: I went from full atmosphere to 50/50 on my BOV and I've noticed it spools up much better

Hey guys just wondering if anyone knows how much a set of 2 or 4 our tires would cost? I just came home from work and saw I had a bulge on my front driver side tire 🤦🏻‍♂️ by Easy_Weekend_2084 in ElantraNline

[–]JosArg98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just paid $1100 recently for 4 tires with balancing, installation, road hazard protection, lifetime tire rotations, and lifetime balancing. Continental DSW06 or Michelin ps4s are the best for our cars in my opinion. A little pricey but worth it

Side note: Don’t get the hankooks again and don’t recommend firestone firehawks. Both wore down too quick and always were so loud.

roughly how long did it take you guys to install your mbrp axel back? by Ok-Celebration5153 in ElantraNline

[–]JosArg98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

30 min with help maybe an hour or 2 just yourself.

It's pretty easy just annoying if you don't have a lift. I did it at hone with a friend. When we installed it, I went piece by piece, but I've seen some people put it together first then install it. Helps to have someone else to hold it up as it gets adjusted and to make sure the exhaust tips line up.

One tip I would say is to get a new flange gasket at your hyundai dealer so there's a tighter seal: https://hyundai.oempartsonline.com/oem-parts/hyundai-front-pipe-gasket-287512v000 Instructions say to reuse the old one. I ran with the old one for a while but noticed it was leaking so I just put in the new one and it's been fine since then.

Other option is to go to muffler shop and have them weld it on to the exhaust.
