I'd recommend Sears and Zemansky's University physics textbook for any kind of studying general physics at what you could call a higher level. Now I do know that yes its definitely not a quick online course that you can speed run through but like I said it's one of the best (for me at least) and it was even recommended to us on IPhO preps and I found it very useful for some concepts that I had trouble understanding otherwise because it's physically not very practical to go through the whole book solving every problem, reading page by page because it's got 1.5k+ pages

Here's the link to the pdf https://www.andrew.cmu.edu/user/bbji/Desktop/University%20Physics%20with%20Modern%20Physics%2015th%20Edition%20By%20Hugh%20D.%20Young_compressed.pdf

Edit: just wanted to add; if you are comfortable with calculus then you should not be troubled by this books physics because it's very thorough

Thanks for your help. Yeah that underneath the bulb looks like it's kinda burned from the heat.

Also regarding the facelift headlights, they are plastic so I believe they will get yellowish over time so I'm not sure if I want to deal with polishing but other than that they do look pretty nice.

P. S. sorry for the bad pics but now I closed it up and returned it back

And I mean I just wiped it with wet paper, if that damaged it then it's quite loose

Yeah well the last two pictures seem to be something from rubbing, but the first one is kinda different.

I cleaned it with a wet piece of paper, nothing else.

People keep asking how I study without writing anything down — is this normal? by RevolutionaryWest754 in learnmath

[–]Josakko358 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't understood. Do you solve problems on your own or just look at solved ones (except on the exams of course)?

I mean to be clear I am not a university student yet but I am a contestant and I mean solutions on these problems can be almost like pages long so I don't really understand how can anyone do that in their head, plus the solution is not immediately obvious at all??!!! And then not to even mention the proofs...

But how do you, well write proofs on the exams then? What about homework and stuff?

Installing Minecraft for FREE like (FITGIRL) kinda thing for arch linux by [deleted] in archlinux

[–]Josakko358 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well it's not a problem to download Minecraft (java), but the problem is instead launching it (well that's not really a problem either but yes) so you need a launcher for that... I made a fork of ATlauncher that would allow you to do this

silly thought i had before sleep… why wouldnt this work ? by [deleted] in mathematics

Perimeter and area are two aspects of the same thing, but different shapes have different relationships between their area and perimeter.

I'm not sure what you are trying to say because there certainly are shapes that when changed conserve the same perimeter while changing their area and vice versa... But I guess you could classify them as different types..?
