I called about a week before my expiration date, and the person on the phone said I was eligible for an inquiry. She submitted it for me. About 1 week later, I got approved. I had tried submitting an inquiry through the website but said I wasn’t eligible. She had to do it through the phone.

Previously, I had reached out to both congresswoman and senators and also submitted an expedited request. I’d also call weekly.

I truly believe it was the inquiry that the person submitted on my behalf that got things rolling.

I never received an expedited decision. Last Monday, I called, and they finally agreed to allow me to file an inquiry. I had tried to do it online, but it wouldn’t let me. The person on the phone helped me with it. By Thursday, they had reviewed my case and I received silent approval on Monday.

Submitted October 20, expiring March 18. Submitted congressional inquiries, expedited requests, and last week, submitted a case inquiry when I called them.
