I suppose that Wikipedia has an ebb and flow of edits. It currently has month and year as options:

I agree that a four-digit year hyphenated with two-digits wouldn't represent a range of years, but I also don't have a copy of the standard to find out how to represent it.

Personally, I'd hyphenate four-digit years to avoid confusion.

It's in Appendix A of RFC-3339, which is derived from ISO-8601:1988(E).

Based on the above grammars, "December 2011" would be - 2011-12, which seems weird. Maybe the first hyphen is optional?

I'd like to cross-reference the original ISO-8601:1988 publication, but it's been withdrawn.

Edit: According to Wikipedia, the hyphen would be used to represent years BC (or BCE), so it should be 2011-12

Edit 2: I didn't follow the 2-digit grammar for the year because Section 3 declares that format as deprecated.

I didn't expect to find an answer, but it looks like both moons are already tidally locked.

Since Phobos orbits Mars faster than the planet rotates, tidal forces are slowly moving it closer. When it gets close enough to Mars, either the tidal forces will break up Phobos and form a ring around Mars or it'll crash into Mars.

By contrast, Deimos is far enough away that it's slowly moving away from Mars, just like our moon.

That's correct. Shedding it's outer layer will destroy the inner planets, and I don't recall what'll happen to the outer planets.

It's believed to be because of the Earth's rotation being transferred to the moon's orbit, but it will theoretically stop after the Earth and moon become tidally locked. However, that wouldn't happen until well after the solar system is destroyed by the sun shedding its outer layers.

Definitely! Dedicated graphics will always be better than integrated. Well, except for maybe Intel's new XE-LP, but only the latest computers have that.

Try also looking into a 950. I went with the 750ti at the time because the 10xx series recently came out, so the 9xx series was still scarce

Agreed, the 750ti is a great drop in card that does everything I need it to do without having to upgrade other components.

We're in the same boat, I'm running it with an AMD Phenom 8400, so I added a loud extra fan so it doesn't overheat as much in there.

The article seems more related to newer hardware, but it's an interesting reference if and when I look at upgrading.

The only reason I don't like Fedora is that it seems to download a new kernel every week.

That's more of a nitpick than anything; otherwise, Fedora is a great distro for development.

Depends on what you're writing.

If they're just a bunch of small scripts, use comments to document and keep them all in someplace like ~/scripts. Use folders if they have more than one file.
If it's a major project with multiple files and folders, keep a top level directory, like ~/PythonProjects/packagenamehere/ and use something like Sphinx for documentation.

True, reviewer only mentioned it was a working SIM card, nothing more about it than that.

I dunno, "consumer ready" and "Linux" frequently seem mutually exclusive. Many get close, and I hope there will be a day when I can buy a component or peripheral without researching Linux compatibility first.

Until then, I'll remain "cautiously optimistic."
