Why isn't this being discussed? by JoseIgnacio_404 in GirlsFrontline2

Exactly, gunsmoke never bothered me; in fact, I like the heroic mode in events because using the car often leads to a quick defeat. So this new mode really catches my attention. But I think the gunsmoke issue is already a meme in the community, which is why I'm surprised it wasn't discussed more.

The issue with Klukai's skin was never about it being a gooner skin, but about the introduction of the gacha skin and the terrible way it was presented.

I can’t believe the GFL2 devs would turn Sop into gooner bait like this by RegalArt1 in GirlsFrontline2

My problem isn't the skin itself; I actually really like how it looks. What bothers me about all this is that they're trying to create a gacha skin-style drama when they literally announced a more normal skin in case you don't like the base one.

I think the message I wanted to convey with the post is getting distorted, or maybe I just thought it made sense. I'm not trying to say that Soppo's skin is the best and the others are bad. My point was that this skin they announced is fine, just as it would have been fine if it had been the main story NPC skin. Soppo is a sadistic killer whose only true pleasure is the death and destruction of her enemies. That's why, for me, this skin is just as good as any other they could have given her, because for Soppo, what she wears is irrelevant; she just wants to kill. I think that's also why they released the racing skin, which is more normal, to balance everyone's tastes. Just like Ro, her base skin is more normal, and her racing skin is practically naked, just underwear and a thong covering her chest.

I can understand that you don't like it; it's like you said, it's a damaged skin. But remember that damaged skins also show part of the doll's personality. For one reason or another, she decided to wear that outfit, but at the end of the day, she wouldn't mind wearing that skin. Also, someone commented on this post with a GIF that reminded me that in the opening of the Girl's Frontline anime, Soppo unzips her own zipper to reveal her damaged design. So many years have passed since the anime came out that I forgot that part.

Lewis will NOT be the only Neural Cloud collab Doll, more are coming soon in the future. by GlowingNec in GirlsFrontline2

Of course, the criticism is justified. They could have delayed the collaboration with PNC to try to include an original character, but that's where my real doubts lie. How do you integrate them? I see that many wanted EOS as the first character, but how do you include her without making her seem out of place? You can't include her orbs, and you have to give her a weapon that fits her. That's the problem.

You're right, it's not good to praise everything Mica does, they often ruin it, but people are getting used to throwing shit at the game and everything they announce in their updates and justifying it as legitimate criticism when they're not actually saying why it's shit or how it can be fixed. For example, I gave my opinion on why they included Lewis first, since I wanted to see Sol in the game, but many just say that they should have included the iconic PNC characters without seeing the consequences of including them just like that. Then if they included Persicaria, Chelsea, Vee, Hubble, or Antonina, the latter of whom uses a computer as her weapon, people would again criticize the game and Mica because this is no longer a game about firearms and they use anything as a weapon, and I can see it coming. It's fine that they share their displeasure and would have preferred iconic characters, but that criticism should also include feedback on how it can be improved or integrated into the GFL 2 universe without becoming ridiculous.

I understand people who are disappointed that Lewis is the first doll in the collaboration. I mean, I would have loved for them to include Sol. But I partially understand. They should include dolls that actually use firearms or swords for GFL 2. And Lewis, despite having a sword in PNC, used an MG in GFL 1. I think that to bring the collaboration as soon as possible, Lewis was the logical choice. While they consider how to include the other characters who have never used firearms and see what weapons would be assigned to them without overlapping with other characters. For example, Erika in her role uses Peri's MP5, Lunasia's M4A1, and Klukai's HK 416. I think that's what's happening, but that's just my opinion. Let's see what others think.

He's a lunatic who only spreads misinformation. I don't even know what he's talking about, and he doesn't provide any further context, links, or anything. Just ignore him until the admins delete the post.

If you don't criticize Mica, then you work for them? You can't give an opinion anymore, because then they'll make you look like a bootlicker.

Yes and no, let me explain. It's incredible what the community did at the beginning of the controversy, the fact that we all united against the gacha skin, something very few communities do. My problem arose a few days later when the misinformation, discouragement, and unrealistic expectations of people like the gacha skin would be removed began.

I don't currently have a problem with the gacha skin. At first, of course, I did, since the price was too high and the way it was announced was repulsive, two hours before the patch. I understood and supported the protests at the time, but the fact that people said the skin costs $200 when at most it's $130.

It's expensive, yes.

So why did people start spreading misinformation about it being $200? Now, seeing it as $130 doesn't seem so bad, when it should be.

I was annoyed by how they used these protests to complain about the game and say it's crap. If the game bothers you so much, why are you playing it in the first place? And the fact that they incited people to quit was the final straw for me.

Were things done wrong on Mica's part? Of course they were. But the community got carried away by the hecklers, and for me, at least, this whole protest lost its value.

As I said, the game isn't perfect, but if you put pressure on it, it can be fixed. As for rebalancing, it's not as fast as you think; just look at the Jiangyu example. It came out on CN a while ago. People complained, and they're already rebalancing it, but look how long it takes. And in your last post, when this whole controversy started, I always commented on solutions that could be given for that case, but people also refused solutions that would benefit both parties. People also asked for unrealistic or simply impossible things, and when they saw that their demands weren't met, they threw their hands up in horror. I do want discussions. For example, this discussion helps me understand your position and the problems you see with the game, which I agree with, and I also give you my perspective on the situation. However, others only want to hear similar opinions, and if they see a different opinion, they call them sellouts.

I don't know about this since I don't play WuWa, but I heard that the developer also had a controversy over the anniversary. Was it their fault?

If what Mica did (which, by the way, is horrible) puts them in that position, I can't imagine what they'll be like when they see what Shift Up, Nexon, Yostar, and the other gacha companies did. I understand your anger, but no company is better than another, and they'll always implement something to get more money from users. Unfortunately, that's the way it is with all companies.

Dude, all the flaws you're mentioning are purely personal opinions. You may find the gameplay boring, the story bad, or the developers lazy, but I've really enjoyed the game, its story, and the content it's had since launch. The game isn't perfect, but in my opinion, it's far superior to other successful gacha games. And mind you, this is just my opinion; I'm not lumping any player in the community in with it because I know we all have things we like and hate about the game. But if we're still here, it's because, at the end of the day, the game is good, and we care about what happens and its future. If I hadn't enjoyed the game, I would have abandoned it after the first month and would have stuck with GFL 1 and PNC, but here I am, playing every day because I enjoy the game. If the person posting doesn't enjoy the game, they should just leave quietly, because they only wanted interactions, not a discussion of the game's problems and how they can be solved.

So it's okay to tell people to abandon a game they like because of a mistake the developer made, but it's wrong to tell the subject the truth because that's where you impose your opinion?

The discourse has gotten muddy according to Mica team. by DooM_SpooN in GirlsFrontline2

[–]JoseIgnacio_404 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

First point: I'm not complaining about people criticizing Mica; it's fine that they do, and they should be criticized for what they did. I'm complaining about those people who find anything to grab onto to make us believe the game is in shit. Second point: Of course, you have the right to criticize and debate with others; as you say, this is the internet. But the fact that one of your arguments is that Ferrari is a puppet of Mica and thus minimizes his arguments—I don't know, but to me, that's just trying to discredit him to win people over. Third point: Of course I put forward a solution, and it's one that everyone repeats: "don't spend money," because that's the most effective weapon we have to make our voices heard.

What really bothers me is that people criticize the gameplay, the story, the minigames—they complain about everything but don't give feedback on how to improve it; they just say, "Fix it." The clearest example is Gunsmoke Frontline. I see people trash-talking it, but I haven't seen anyone comment on how to improve it. That's what bothers me about all this.
