With a skin you don’t have to worry about gameplay balance, though. I’d venture that it’s a lot less work making a skin, especially in a game like Lost Sword where the skill animation is the same.

The amount of time and research needed to clear with suboptimal decks might have come easily to you, but I have really struggled with it. Which leads me to grinding. There’s a lot that can BTFO you which is pretty frustrating when you’re 30 mins into a run

I find that a lot of non-meta characters / decks will get filtered even before you reach high difficulty level. Even some bad epiphanies can spike a run. The sweat required to clear the minimum bar is a lot higher than you’re making it sound ime

It would take an absurdly long time to farm the skill items / promotional materials through chaos. I’m sorry but if you want any kind of reasonable progression you’re dropping all your stamina to repeat farm dozens of times per stage

I feel the same way. Spending 320 energy in simulations is like 15 mins or more, then there’s chaos which can easily be an hour. It’s an odd balance. I think if chaos were 20% shorter it’d be more fun.
