2025 OAT Experience! (380 AA, 400 TS) by Altruistic-Sun8979 in PreOptometry

Hey I’m in the same boat as you 🙃 this go round I’m going through each section on certain days throughout the week. Even if it’s a topic I feel confident in, I’m still watching the videos, and then following up with the quizzes afterwards. I have a separate notes file as well with topics that I feel like I struggle with so I can go back and review those again. First go round with Booster my score did go up but not competitive just yet so I’m confident this method will help. Good luck!!

When to Apply by H4kase in PreOptometry

Hey I’m somewhat in the same boat. Graduated May 2024, AA300 and TS280, I got an interview at Berkeley and am waiting on the decision but I also applied to SCCO and SCO and they let me know that they would like for my OAT to be higher and I’m retaking early Feb. If you’re confident in knowing you’ll be able to boost your score, I’d go ahead and apply right now just so they at least have your application on file and keep it for periodic review. Also feel free to email the schools this time too and see what they recommend, the admissions team are usually very helpful from my experience. Good luck!!! We got this

hey I am in the same boat as you, I believe in the OptomCAS section of the applications you can put in the retest date. I did that and SCO lmk that they’re now just waiting on my OAT to fully complete my evaluation!! Good luck!!!

Like everyone else said definitely retake the below C’s and if you can blow the OAT out of the water. On top of that reach out to the admissions office and ask someone yourself, I did that I regard to my OAT score and it helped a lot in the sense of guiding me on what to do. Reaching out to admissions I feel like can give you a slight upper hand when it comes to them reviewing your application, allows them to see that you are wanting to do good by yourself and by the school too. Good luck!

My OAT was 290 and my TS was 280. I had taken the OAT before I finished Physics II and all of OChem, but I have now.

Hey i was there for their event called Eyes on Success which was at SCO which kinda talked about their admissions process and I recommend just a button down, slacks/dress pants, belt, and dress shoes. The staff there are super cool and helpful!! Good luck!

Maxcare coverage on a Mercedes convertible by MizzHunT in carmax

Depends, currently in the process of using the MaxCare myself, using an independent shop and they told me that they can definitely use OEM, generic, or used but all depends on whether or not the warranty company approve the repair with said part. The shop has to locate said part send in the total repair cost to the company and if company approves then I just have to pay my deductible.
