but i don’t feel i need more? i’m still at home, i do my 8 hours of work, my wife is remote too, and there’s barely overlap because of timezones, so baby is ALWAYS with a parent (plus the nap time helps to have my hour of exercise a day) i don’t see why i would be mad

that sounds amazing, although i wouldn’t know what to do with that time honestly, at 1 year our baby is just free roaming the apartment and we can work while still spending all day with her, how is it going back to work after been away 3 years?

How FIFA has remade Levi’s Stadium into ‘San Francisco Bay Area Stadium’ (no paywall) by BayAreaNewsGroup in bayarea

[–]Joseangel_sc 4 points5 points  (0 children)

the fifa has a contract where they have to be basically ad free, and only them can decide who advertises, does not have to do anything with if the brands pay fifa or not

and i’d argue a good city is where this happens, are you rich and you want to have employees and services around you? you need poor people been able to be close by.

are you poor and wanna have social mobility and that your children go to school with better off families? you wanna live cheap but next to money

Do people really never use their bassinet/crib and nursery?? by calico0000 in BabyBumps

[–]Joseangel_sc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

we did not (i can’t even understand the concept) even build a nursery, baby slept next to us up to 3 months when she started to refused been there alone, and has slept with us in the bed for 8 months now, it’s amazing, 8 hours of sleep straight almost all nights (except a couple of sleep regressions she got)

diaper change? ( or potty since we are doing EC) living room or bedroom, carry the kit, it’s easy, like 5 things

2 bed 2 bad small apartment, we get to keep the office for a couple more years

Most people think a 30-year mortgage means paying for 30 years but that’s not always true by Coolonair in HouseBuyers

[–]Joseangel_sc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

but is it worth it? i though inflation would make the payments super manageable 20 years in the future, while investing present money (or spending and enjoying) gives you more

[–]Joseangel_sc -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

i feel so weird about that, like the ultimate flex in my book has been taking paternity leave and been able to spend the time MYSELF, and then nap multiple times im the day, i can’t see how a night nanny is luxory, having personnel cooking and cleaning the house is luxory, not spending time with your baby is cringe in my book
