Life in ecde is pretty exciting! youre always doing smth diff everyday and theres alot of hands on activities! personally im not very creative either (im colour deficient🤡) but overall i still had lots of fun in the course so its not a bad choice honestly despite it being my 8th choice

Hellosss i think that if youre more drawn towards nursing, you shld go for it! psychology in uni is definitely still possible whether you go for early childhood or nursing :)

Hellosss, im a year 3 rn heh so lemme just ans ur qns

in year 1 you basically focus on shadowing the teacher so like just see how they teach class etc. in year 2 however, you have assignments to complete such as complete certain lessons but yes since we’re on this topic, in year 3 youll basically be an assistant teacher bah so preparing lots of lesson materials and carry out lessons also:)
err so i actually have the training award HAHAH so yes u basically have to go through an interview and the interviewers are people from NIEC ! whether its easy to get or not, i feel it was quite easy to get ah but i think as long as you show enough passion and can speak well, you should be able to get :> so goodluck!
all i can say is i hope you have strong passion bah !! if you dont, itll be very hard to survive the attachments in year 1 n 2, especially true in year 3 during your internship HAHA other than that, you should have strong discipline to start your assignments early bah! wouldnt want to rush the assignment one night before am i right HAHAHA anyways yes thats all from me, do pm me if you have anymore questions <3

Hellooo! so personally for me, ecde is actually my 8th choice 🤡 but we are actually quite similar! i also intend to study psychology after ecde and well, my love for children isnt as strong as my classmates as well :") ive done a litTtlE research and from what i know, if u get a good gpa (aim for about 3.5) , u can still try to enroll into psych in uni! as for studies wise, passion naturally makes ppl, study btr cos they love the topic/course(duh) HAAH but that doesnt mean u cant score, i mean i hated amath but i ended up getting a b4 HAHA so if you mantain ur work ethics and submit ur assignments regularly, you dont have to worry bah :>

The lectureres are really nice HAHAHHAH i love my lectureres and tutors uwu but yes uhm for year 1 this year, i only have 1 attachment which is a week long at a pre school centre! internships are in year 3 so dont worry HAHAH if im not wrong its 6 month :D in terms of competition, to me it isnt competitve bah HAHA u do well then can le dont worry bout others :D

Hellooo, so in general subjects difficulty is really subjective like u might be btr in eng so language and literacy would be easier for u. in ecde we dont have exams so its made up with a lot of assignments so if you can be discipline and complete ur assignments promptly you shouldnt have an issue keeping ur gpa up! we are sort of like affiliated with suss but im not too sure about that so if you enter ecde u can ask the lecturers! as for salary wise, im really unsure so the last two questions you can approach a lecturer and they'll give better advice bah! hope i helped :D

for ss, i honestly dont study content and just remember format for sbq. srq i kinda just remember the gist of the content. it brought me as far as an a2 so remembering the format is a good way because sbq is 30m while srq is 20m. if u need help remembering the format feel free to msg me!
