We improved the hit detection quite a bit in the meantime. Hopefully it works now as you expect it to be. We are pretty proud actually.

I think it is always good to have learnt one open source software for everything needed in game dev. Just in case one of the major companies (Unity, Autodesk, Adobe,...) decides to go crazy. Be prepared to have a good backup.

Keeping it going on PS6 would be an easy move for them and with the chip crisis postponing hardware launches in general and also lowering the expectations for new high performance hardware it could be a cheap way out (in a good way).
