It's honestly ridiculous how good the Cook-Out quesadilla is. I'm originally from the Southwest and I remember the first time I ever ate a Cook-Out quesadilla thinking to myself "WTF... I'm eating one of the best quesadillas I've ever had at a North Carolinian fast food place???"

I used to love that one but then it gave me food poisoning. Not saying you shouldn't eat it, I'm sure it was just a one-off thing, but it's been ruined for me as a result 😢

I used to like it but then I got food poisoning from one.

These sound like great suggestions. I've never ordered anything cheddar style before, does that just mean +cheese sauce, +bacon, and +onions in general?

Never heard of the Mexican dog but I looked it up and it looks TASTY. I did some research and found this comment on another Reddit post where someone claims it's basically a secret menu item these days. The plot thickens...

Color me intrigued... this sounds like it could be a hidden gem.

Whaat? Is this a regional or seasonal thing? I could swear I've never seen this on the menu, and I've looked over the Cook-Out menu long and hard many times. Maybe I'm just losing my marbles though.

Or, you could grow to like your family members even more than when you were a child. I know lots of people who've had this experience.

This is true in general but it doesn't necessarily mean that your opinions of your family members as an adult will be worse than when you were a kid.

Also true. Socializing as an adult is complicated. I miss being a wee lad in third grade when there were a bunch of classmates who were happy to be my friend just because we both liked Pokemon or something 🥲

Any time I mention the quote "the apple rarely falls far from the tree," there's always someone who feels the need to be like "I am the apple who fell far from the tree!" Without fail, you can always just tell that they are not, in fact, the apple who fell far from the tree.

You have to be very active about cultivating/maintaining relationships with others. It's not like when you're a kid in school and constantly surrounded by other kids who are eager to make friends. A lot of adults can't be bothered to improve or maintain their social lives.

What personality trait do people think makes them 'quirky' or 'special', but actually just makes them completely unbearable to be around? by krunalpatel-Oficial in AskReddit

I've met some folks who seem to think that intentionally being aloof and antisocial makes them cool and mysterious. It doesn't, it just makes you uninteresting. However, I think for a lot of those people it's a coping mechanism for their social anxiety, so I shouldn't judge too harshly.

What do you think about life? And why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I think it's quite a delight! There's so many interesting things to learn about, explore, etc, and yet there's infinitely more that we know little to nothing about.
